Hospital Pharmacy at Universitas Indonesia Hospital 🏥💊
Learn from real clinical cases, observe Indonesian pharmaceutical services in a modern hospital setting, and gain insight into the healthcare system of a diverse nation!
Research Program at the Cell Culture Laboratory of Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Indonesia🔬🧫 (Research placement is flexible and not limited to the cell culture lab, depending on availability)
📌 Please note: Incoming students are required to choose either the Hospital Pharmacy or Research placement when applying, as the two tracks run separately.

The Exchange/Internship is planned to be held in Depok. Universitas Indonesia Hospital and the laboratories are in the area of our campus. For weekend tour, we will explore more to Jakarta.
Date: 14th of July – 2nd of August 2025 (it is adjustable, feel free to contact us to discuss)
Type accommodation
Location of stay : Wisma Makara UI (official dormitory for UI Students), located within Universitas Indonesia's campus area.
Accommodation will be fully taken care of after students pay the additional fees which will be informed after students are placed. Estimated fee: ~€25 EUR (approx. Rp400.000 IDR) per night
A shuttle bus is available for your daily commute to the internship or research site—convenient, safe, and easy to access!
Note: students must pay the accommodation maximum of 10 days before arrival in Indonesia
Board, pocket money or other financial benefits/remuneration
We will not provide any pocket money during the period of SEP.
Exchange students need to pay for accommodation, food, tickets, transportation, etc by themselves. Daily needs (food & transport): 6–8 EUR/day (estimation).
However, upon your arrival in Jakarta, you will be warmly welcomed and picked up for free by our SEP Team from BEM FF UI. We’ll guide you through the first steps of your exciting journey in Depok and Jakarta, ensuring you feel right at home!
Language requirements
Every exchange students are required to speak in English. Learning basic Indonesian is very appreciated!

Applicants must be at least in their 3rd semester or 2nd year of study

Outside Southeast Asia: students need to apply for the visa.
We will send you the invitation letter provided by the SEO.
Indonesia offers two types of visas suitable for short-term visits:
Single-Entry Visitor Visa (B211A)
Visa on Arrival (VoA)

Selection Procedures
- Deadline: 15th of June (the sooner the better)
- Selection will be done by SEO
- Additional documents: a letter from your dean of the university
