ii.Testimony from IFPMA fellow 2019-2020

“Seven months ago, I started my IPSF Fellowship at the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations (IFPMA). My work was related to vaccines policy and I also helped with vaccines communications. My daily tasks were composed of providing additional support to my portfolio leaders in the coordination of several projects, liaising with other members and sometimes attending vaccines-related external events around Geneva.

During this period, I have gotten a huge insight into how the environment in Geneva looks like and how advocacy and multilateral engagement with stakeholders such as WHO, governments and various organisations work. I have been exposed to some high-level meetings which has enhanced my knowledge on key topics during this fellowship. What is more, IFPMA is an organisation which is led by team spirit. Ever since my face-to-face interview, I was warmly accepted into the team. Besides the workload, you will feel welcome and have a lot of fun with the youth engagement team.

Stop hesitating and grab this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend a year in the international hub of global health.”
