Hospital laboratory: in CAC National Anticancer Center (Biochemistry, Parasitology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology and Hemobiology).
Hospital pharmacy: in National Anticancer Center, chemotherapy and oncology drugs included.
Community pharmacy: in the most dynamic and notorious pharmacy in Batna (city center) where students can have a training in community pharmacy and compounding.
Industry: in one of the International Pharmaceutical Factories where Exchange Students can have internship training in production units and quality control.
Length of training periods
From 2 to 3 weeks upon the request and field of training. Details can be discussed with the SEO.
Available months and cities
July and August. SEP will take place in both Batna and Algiers (the capital).
ARPEC provides free accommodation for exchange students in host family, or in a local Hotel for only 10 euro/day.
Board, pocket money or other financial benefits/remuneration
The host association we’ll be taking care of transportation, the student should bring enough money to buy souvenirs or other personal expenses, how ever living in Algeria costs 5-8 EUR a day.
No language requirements, the student will be accompanied by a SEP team member to do any translation when needed, however knowing some Arabic and French would be helpful during extra and social activities.
