Area possibilities
Pharmaceutical technology: at least 3rd year of studies. At the University. You will take classes and have laboratory practices with the students: Formulation of new products, Good manufacturing practices, production of pilot batches.
Laboratory of Natural Products Investigation: at least second year of studies. The laboratory offers the following investigation lines: -Biological activities, -Toxicity test in Medicinal Herbs - Extraction, isolation and structural elucidation of new molecules - Proposals for biogenetic routes - Toxic Plants - Hospital and industry: subject to availability

You may be hosted by a professor (for free) You may stay in a hotel accommodation (around $30 per day. It’s paid by the student).
Board, pocket money or other financial benefits/remuneration
There´s no spending money or other remuneration. Board paid by the student. On each trip, you may need about 20 dollars (for food or drinks).
Language requirements
Spanish (mandatory) Not everyone speaks English in El Salvador.
Other requirements
At least 3rd year in studies. If it is possible, botanical, and pharmaceutical technology knowledge.
