  9. Method of preparation

1	Weigh 30 g Calamine using balance (Class II or electronic balance)
2	Weigh 170 g Talc using balance (Class II or electronic balance)
3	Transfer the Calamine to a porcelain mortar
4	Add the Talc to the Calamine in the mortar about the same amount with Calamine and mix using a pestle
5	Add the Talc to the mixture in the mortar about the same amount with mixture and mix using a pestle
6	Repeat the step 5 until all the Talc has been used
7	Sieve through a 40 mesh, 5” sieve
8	Transfer the powder to a powder shaker container
9	Label and dispense to the patient
