Pharmacy Education Newsletter - Issue #14
Welcome to the 14th edition of the Pharmacy Education Newsletter!
Pharmacy Education Newsletter (PEN) is an educational/scientific newsletter published by the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (IPSF) that gathers students to share
their pharmacy education experiences with IPSF members globally.
PEN aims to allow pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences students to engage with other pharmacy colleagues while promoting the pharmacy profession. Also, it seeks to keep students updated on the projects and initiatives of the Pharmacy Education portfolio.
This edition brings together six thoughtfully curated sections that reflect the diversity, innovation, and global impact of pharmacy today.
We begin with Pharmacy Students Opportunities Diversity, highlighting the wide range of pathways, experiences, and professional growth opportunities available to pharmacy students worldwide.
The second section, Emerging Trends in Pharmacy, explores cutting-edge developments shaping the profession, from digital transformation and artificial intelligence to personalized medicine and innovative care models.
Next, Inspiring People in Pharmacy showcases stories and interviews with individuals whose journeys, leadership, and advocacy continue to motivate and redefine the role of the pharmacist.
The fourth section, Pharmacy Students as Innovators, celebrates student-led initiatives, creative problem-solving, and real-world applications that demonstrate how students are actively shaping the future of healthcare.
Our fifth section, Global Perspectives in Pharmacy, offers insights into pharmacy education and practice across different regions, emphasizing cultural competence, collaboration, and shared global challenges.
Finally, this edition concludes with Nanjing Statement Winners, highlighting impactful student voices and ideas on a global stage.
