Area possibilities
- Community Pharmacy
- Hospital Pharmacy, in private and public hospitals (central pharmacy of the hospital, the radiopharmacy production unit...).
- Industry ( Maybe ).
- Research: the internship in the hospital will be in different areas: microbiology department, biochemistry department, hemobiology department, parasitology department and toxicology department.
Length of training periods
2 weeks to 1 month (depends on the internship fields) (Contact the SEO for more information)
Available months and cities
For summer SEP: July to September For winter SEP: November / February
Cities: mainly Tizi-Ouzou for the internship (And some other cities for social events)
Type accommodation
-Host Families, University Dorms : both provided by the host association. -Hotel or private appartment: the student has to pick his own accommodation and the host association will help him to find the best place. (not provided by the host association) -Any other idea is welcomed (You can discuss this with the SEO)
Board, pocket money or other financial benefits/remuneration
-The host association will be taking care of food ( breakfast and dinner ) and transportation to the place of the internship. -However, the students have to pay for souvenirs or any other personal expenses. Note: Living in Algeria costs 7-10 EUR per day
Language requirements
English is required French (not required but an advantage since it is the language used in the university, hospital..) Arabic (not required but also an advantage since it is the mother language in Algeria)

Minimum year of study : third year
Information on Work Permits and Visa

Type of visa : tourist visa Can't be obtained online Visa cost : 85 EUR Time of obtaining : approximately 15 days The host association will provide this documents which will be needed in the visa application: an invitation letter, certificate of accommodation and a certificate of internship agreement. The documents will be sent to the SEO’s home association.
Selection Procedures
There is no deadline to apply, however it is preferable if at least 1 month to 2 prior to the exchange period due to the visa applications delay.
