Celebrating World Pharmacists Day on September 25th, IPSF has Pharmacy Awareness Week(s) from 22nd to 28th September 2018

World Pharmacists Day (WPD) takes place on the 25th of September 2018. The theme this year is the ‘Pharmacist: Your medicines Experts’ echoing the theme of the FIP Congress which took place early September. IPSF encourages students and young graduates to engage with the prospect of the profession at an early stage in their studies and career from 22nd to 28th September 2018 known as IPSF Pharmacy Awareness Week(s) (PAW). There are 7 webinars hosted by IPSF Professional Development during the week and campaigns including video project, twibbon and WPD Challenge in collaboration with FIP Young Pharmacists Group.
The 65th IPSF World Congress 2019 will be held in a vibrant city of Kigali, Rwanda, hosted by Rwanda Pharmaceutical Student's Association (RPSA) from 30th July until 8th August 2019. The Congress will gather more than 600 pharmacy students and recent graduates from 90 countries worldwide. The main theme of the conference Striving towards Health for All: Exploring Innovations in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences will tackle one of the main global health agenda by stressing role of pharmacists in achieving Universal Health Coverage.
