Applications must be submitted to the IPSF Secretariat. The deadline for 2009 new membership applications for associations has now passed.  The next deadline will be in 2010 two months before the commencement of the 56th IPSF Congress in Slovenia, by June 1st 2010.  Applications for Individual Membership and Friends of the Federation can occur at any time of the year.

Full Membership

Full Membership (FM) is granted to national organisations that represent the majority of pharmacy students in their nation.  A nation is defined as being a community of people with a government that is recognised by the United Nations.  Full Members are entitled to all membership privileges in IPSF and have the right to put motions forward and vote at the General Assembly held during IPSF Congress.

Membership in Association

Membership in Association (MiA) is granted to associations that represent pharmacy students.  These associations can be faculty based, regional, or national.  MiAs are entitled to all privileges of membership in IPSF but do not have voting rights at the General Assembly.

Individual Membership

Pharmacy students and graduates of up to four years after their first degree in pharmacy can apply to be an Individual Member (IM) of IPSF.  At the discretion of the executive, individuals who do not prove to have the Federation’s interests at heart may not be granted membership.  Privileges of membership include participation in IPSF Congress, General Assemblies, receiving IPSF publication and newsletters, right to apply for Grants, Awards, and Internships.
