others? To make a change in the life of PD patients? Then the 5th PDSS is
the place to be!
The 5th Parkinson's Disease Summer School for healthcare students,
PhD candidates and junior professionals will be held from September
16th to 25th 2013 in Montreal, Canada. The event combines: innovation
in education, inspiration in research and teamwork in healthcare, not
forgetting networking & social activities.
It is a joint project of EPSA, EMSA, EFPSA and ENSA, endorsed by
European Parkinson's Disease Association (EPDA) and supported by
academic and business environment.

World Healthcare Students' Symposium 2013

The World Healthcare Student Symposium (WHSS) is the biggest international event 
for healthcare students. It comprises 300 students of medicine, pharmacy, nursing, 
chiropractic and other healthcare professions spending 5 days together in a worldwide 
student congress, which is held every two years. 
The WHSS will take place in the city of Lausanne, Switzerland and the event will be held 
between 8th to the 13th of September 2013. The first registration period will open on 
1st of April and will last until the 30th of April and the fee is going to be 400 CHF and 
thereafter at an elevated price. Participants registration fees are subsidised by 50 % 
thanks to our sponsors and executive partners. 
The topic of WHSS 2013 “Demystifying Interprofessional Collaboration ” is one of the 
heatidly discussed subjects these days. The vision of the symposium is to bring students 
together from around the world and healthcare profession in order to discuss current 
healthcare issues like e.g. interdisciplinary team rounds provide 360 degrees care or 
healthcare models worldwide.
The programme is composed of:
- 2 full days of plenary session and workshops held by professionals and students
- visits to pharmaceutical companies and institutions
- 1 day of sightseeing and games
- An opening ceremony, an international night, a swiss night , a theme party and a galanight.

International Student Medical Congress

International Student Medical Congress in Kosice is getting ready to welcome students, young doctors and researchers from the whole world in Slovakia on 26.-28.June 2013. ISMCK 2013 continues the tradition as it´s taking place for 5th time. Our aim is to strengthen the international network for scientific collaboration, as well as linking of different nations and cultures. We invite all young scientists working in the fields of medicine, public health, dentistry, pharmacology and biomedical sciences. ISMCK 2013 offers students and PhD students an opportunity to present results of their research projects and to exchange ideas on different topics through oral or poster presentations in categories: Basic Science, Dentistry, Clinical Medicine, Public Health, PhD students’ works and Pharmacology. Here you are more than welcome to share your scientific and non scientific ideas and opinions. Registration deadline is 1st March 2013!

18th Congress of the European Association of Hospital Pharmacists

EAHP’s annual congress is the largest congress for hospital pharmacy in Europe and is attended by professionals from over 50 countries. Approximately 4,000 hospital pharmacists are expected to attend the 18th Congress of the EAHP next 13-15 March 2013 at the Palais des Congrès de Paris, France.

"Improving patient outcomes - a shared responsibility" will be the theme for the presentations at the Paris 2013 EAHP Congress. A scientific programme including 3 keynote presentations, 13 seminars open for interactions with the speakers and 3 interactive workshops will offer participants the unique opportunity to meet, network and share expertise.
